C-stores began to switch their offerings, and began to focus on more prepared foods and grab-and-go menu options.  Healthier options were added, thus increasing the desire for cold food storage, and grab-and-go. Point of sales were re-designed to incorporate new menu options, and hot prepared food options. That is in addition to the extra safety guards such as plexiglass hanging and installed barriers to protect the staff from any virus spread. Another NACS survey also showed that c-store retailers added or extended their offer around more in-demand products.
