#### The New Baseline for Health and Wellness Build-Outs 

A stretch of closures and reopenings reset what members expect from a health and wellness facility. The reset held.

Members who trained at home for months came back knowing what a facility has to offer that a living room does not. Services that once sat at the edge of the category, cryotherapy and chiropractic care among them, moved into the standard mix. New locations opened in storefronts and shopping centers next to retail tenants, where a space gets read on sight before a member speaks to anyone.

That is the baseline now. The brands expanding are the ones whose spaces absorb a change in services without a rebuild, and whose fourth location reads like the first.
